Okay there are a couple of solenoids that look like the one i posted above.
1 is on the top of the pump and has 2 terminals on the single post. 1 of the wires is White and the other is Green.
2nd is on the side of the pump facing the drivers fender and has 1 white wire going to it. I noticed mine was unplugged and really has a bad connection.

The white wire feeds the KSB switch, it does not even need to be connected for the truck to run. As long as the other wire has a good connection, that's all you need to make the truck run.
The other solenoid is the KSB solenoid, it only operates when the truck is cold. It's there to reduce white smoke, not having it operate will not cause any driveability problems.
I'm not saying it shouldn't be fixed, but it's not the problem so it does not need to be at the top of your "to do" list.

Take an 8MM wrench and remove that nut.
Lift the double-spade connector off and put it aside.
Cut off the big plastic female-spade that is on the wire.
Replace it with a crimped/soldered ring-terminal.
Put the ring-terminal over the threaded stud, add the washer, and the nut.
You can then eliminate that as the problem.

If the Blue "Green in my truck" wire is loose and making a bad connection would it cause the problem that we are both having? I know you told me to drop the tank wanna...lol... im just hoping its something easier..

Chris
Definitely fix the connection before you resort to dropping the tank. It's a lot easier and it ought to be fixed anyway before it falls off while you're pulling out into traffic...
got the connector changed and it runs like a champ now. Not had a problem with it in two days and ive put on two hundred miles since so it seems all is good for now. thanks for the help everyone
