This is his comment says about his truck. Awesome!

"Hauled commercially with the Dually for 7 years and had 1,167,000 miles on the ole Dodge before quiting."

166K miles a year. Wow.

I'd hate the maintance schedule for that truck.

Glad you did the breakdown per year. He must do lots of cross country with mileage like that. That maintenance schedule must cost $$$!

The maintenance was oil and filter every 6K. In the winter a fuel filter every 12 and the summer every 18K. Greased it up each time, air filter every 3-4 oil changes.....

I used only Michelin LTX MS tires, I got 100-110K miles on a set they only needed rotation every 20K, never blew one out.

I hauled boats cross country primarily, I'd stick 2-3 on my 53 ft. trailer and just go. It was a fun and rewarding job, got to meet some muckety mucks, Tim Allen, Chuck Norris, yadda yadda.

Some days I swear I am going to get a nicer riding new truck, but I love the looks I get in this one, and frankly I dont want to wire up more chicken lights on a new one.....

That's a fine looking truck. At least from the distance of the camera it sure doesn't show it's miles.

Do you have some kind of aftermarket seat/air suspension or just a superhuman butt?

I once drove the dodge 1400 miles in 3 days (a slow trip pulling a heavy trailer through the mountains) and after I finally got home I hobbled around bent over like an old man. lol

The rear suspension has factory overloads and air lift air bags, it rides like a washboard. Driving as much as I did my healh was getting bad, there were times when I was at home it took me 15 minutes to get me feet on the fllor my back hurt so bad.

The truck really does still look pretty good, there are some small stress cracks on the front corner of the bed, and the tail gate is shot frokm letting a electric car sit on it from AZ to FL... But still looks good.

Thanks for the compliments....Hell this truck out lasted my wife.....!?

What trans is in that? 5 speed or auto? And are all those miles on an un rebuilt motor?

I too am curious about what transmission you have and what you have had to replace on the truck over the years.
