There is a salvage yard by me that has a 93 w 250 CTD auto w/ 3:54 rears 1090000 thousand miles on it that I have been keeping an eye on for the past 2 years. The story goes it belonged to a farmer that took the breaks apart lost intrest let the dog live in it, farmer died salvage yard got it. Over the years 1 door left fender windshield and other parts have been sold. So today I finally asked how much for motor trans and rears? he said 1500.00 I said ok . I was told the motor alone was worth 3500.00. Was it the deal??

 

I don't know...over a million miles is kinda high, even for a CTD.

If it's the 109k I assume it is, then I think you got a smokin' deal!

 

Farmers don't normally put a lot of miles on trucks. Rough on them physically though. In my area any used cummins out of the truck that runs decent is $ 3,000 . R C

 

Sorry 109.thousand miles, body on truck is really beat to lleh underside is amazingly clean. As soon as it stops raining Iam going to try and start it.

 

If its only 100 thousand then I would say you got a deal! Sounds like a great steal even if the body is shot. You could part the truck out and make alot of money on it
