DDP Stage 3 injectors

Are you running any DDP Stage 3 injectors? How do you like them? I kind of decided to go with them on my build & was wondering how they are. They are the 90Hp sticks.

Thanks guys!!

DDP3's are 40 hp injectors. DDP4's are 80 hp injectors.

Check here.

Stage 3s are 90hp & stage 4s are 140hp.
Maybe they changed the #s.

DDP3's flow 50lpm (+40hp), DDP4's flow 55lpm (+80hp). The difference is verymild, and the 3's are $200+ less than the 4's. I love mine, woke the truck up with my pump mods even with the slop tranny.

The link you posted is for a 2nd gen, not a ve pump like we have. Are you running a 2nd gen pump?

I love my injectors. I went with DDP because they are known for being high quality and clean injectors.

I'm thinking about sending them back this winter and having them enlarged a little, if that's possible.

Same.

I went with the DDP 4s and some day I will likely do the same if they will do it.
Mine came as a 4 hole. It's sort of funny looking actually because the way the holes in the tips are honed out is supposed to be like a 5 point star for 5 holes but it's like one hole is just missing. Moral of the story, some DDP4 injectors are 4 hole and some are 5 hole. They all flow the same so it shouldn' make a difference.
What I was thinking is sending them in and getting them to put that 5th hole in it, if they can or will or whatever. Technically each hole currently should flow 13.75 lpm. Putting a 5th hole should bump them up to 68-69 lpm injectors. If it would work that way, I don't know. If it did that would be a pretty substantial increase. But I don't know if it really would work that way, things don't always work the same in theory as they do in real life.

I second DDP injectors though. I got mine put on a dyno right after installing them. I dynoed the stock sticks, installed the DDPs and then re-dynoed with the DDPs like 2 hours later. They added 65 hp to the wheels with a stock pump with only a dennyt pin and a small bump in timing. That's with the stock auto tranny too. Not bad imo for an 80 horse injector.

I would see if Lenny can give ya a set of 70lpm injectors. Mine old injectors were DDP4+....a little bigger at 62 lpm and they still burned really clean....well, compared to the 6x16s that is.

a quick question...does running these bigger injectors drop your fuel economy? if you're soft on the pedal would you not see much difference in fuel economy?

It depends on the injector. My fuel economy was actually better with the DDP4's than stock (23 vs 19) but worse with the 6x16s (18 mpg). That's why I think DDP4s are a pretty good injector. The 6x16s made almost another 100 hp on nitrous though.
