D70 Yoke strap retaining bolt size?

Anyone happens to know the size bolts that hold the yoke strap, on the rear of the Dana 70? I know the head is 5/16. I need to replace a bad rear u-joint, and got all the yoke strap bolts out, except that last one. I will need to use a bolt extractor to get it out - so, I will need a new replacement yoke strap bolt. Went to NAPA and they have no clue. Any help is appreciated! Truck is a 93 W250, with A518, 4x4.

If you measure it up and figure which u-joint it is (i cant recall) then you can buy new strap kits.

Take the old bolt and strap with you! Not being a smarty but makes since to me.

That is a hard to find fine thread bolt.
I used to go through lots of those on my '72 Power wagon mud truck until I got my rear driveshaft angle worked out.
I went though more than a dozen "lifetime" u-joints one summer...and a bunch of straps and bolts as I would mangle them when my D-shaft went.
I have a coffee can full of those straps and bolts.
PM me and I can send you one to help you out.

I had one that rounded off using a danged 6 point socket! I needed to get the u joints changed out, so I bent the strap enough to remove the drive shaft.

It's all still holding together.

I do not know why they used thread locker and have a bolt with a small and weak bolt head.

Well it is hard to find if you want to drive to Napa / Autozone and grab one when you need it right then.

I last looked for those bolts, 15 years ago, before I used the computer to help me find the Dodge parts.

Now that I have a coffee can full of u-bolt straps, and bolts it is easy to find a good one.[coffee]

Thanks for all the replies! I searched google for 10 min, and finally located the Spicer # for the yoke strap kit, which includes the bolts. Ordered up the kit off the net. I gave up with the local NAPA.

I never have good luck with Napa.
