Custom speaker boxes "PICS"

Well, MY wife and I had these sony speakers laying around for the past few years and I ditched all the factory speakers in the truck.. So, this is what we came up with.. Nothin fancy, but it actually sounds pretty good.. Im not a real big audio type person, as long as my hilbilly music sounds good... I'm happy!!! Oh... this was a husband and wife build too... We were in the garage untill midnight making the boxes the other night..

I'd put the 6x9's in the doors and put a DD1508 behind the seat.

Thanks... Well, I haven't drove it yet after in the install.. But sitting inside with teh doors shut, it sounds good.. You can tell the sound is coming from behind you, but it is not in your ear or anything... I didn;t have holes in the doors, so I wanted to leave that alone.. That is why I did what I did.. Plua I used this insulation matt on the doors..

Put some tweeters on the dash and the sound will sound likes it's coming from the front.

Sweet... All my buddies have beed trying to steal her for years, and yes they are my friends..lol She's a awesome wife and I'm lucky to have her!! She has helped on this truck alot, from sanding to just helping hold stuff.. When we painted the frame, she had paint on her arms for two weeks before it wore off..lol
