Cruse control quit

Cruse just quit while driving it was working for about 15 seconds then just quit. Now if I hit the set button while driving it will rev up like its is trying to work then it just quits again. Where do I start trouble shooting? everything else is working. Any help will be great I need to get this working before I end up with a speeding ticket.

The only problem I have had was caused by the brake light switch. It fell out of adjustment and every little bump shut off the cruise control.

I know this sounds stupid, but check your alternator output.

I checked the brake switch like you said but it is working fine actualy have to move pedal a good bit to get the lights to come on and I have a brake controller and have never had it blink red unless I was stepping on the brake.

Any other Ideas?
