Crude Oil in a diesel

Has any one had experience runnind straight crude in diesels? I ran into a guy in PA that does it in the summer in his ford. He also runs it in a Jetta and his Kubota Tractor as well.

You can do it from the sludge from oil tanks if you want just have a valve up about half way.Have a good supply of filters on hand.I most certainaly would not run it in a high priced vehecile but I have done it in a furnace.
