If it means deleting the grid heater, I definitely won't do it.

oh no,you don't have to delete the grid heater.i just don't need a grid heater where I live (south east pa.).it is easier to make a cross over with a grid heater.the bend isn't as sharp.

Looks like the intercooler off the 8.3 in the Magnum tractors. I think it would require different injector lines.

I've been wondering if the oil cooler off the 8.3 would fit the 5.9. Uses a lot bigger filter.

They do. They are still available in sets from a certain Ebay seller. For both pumps too.
