Cowl induction hoods

Has anybody ever seen or made a custom hood? My buddy has an old hood I think I might get and try to build one

DPM recently had an article on a first gen that didn't really have a cowl induction hood, but it had a cowl. The owner said that he had to make it himself.

As long as it's not the typical GM style cowl induction hood...those things are so UGLY!!

If I was to do one I would take an Air Grabber hood from a 70 Roadrunner and graft it onto the hood. A guy locally had done this on his late 70's short box 4x4 dodge ram truck years ago...looked pretty nice.

It would be difficult and may not look that great but the amount of shaking these engines do, a shaker hood could be interesting

Really?, this was always one of my favorite cars that looks fast when parked. The only other hood I ever liked better is the gto (especially the Judge) with the tach mounted in the hood...Mark

At SOP years ago there was a guy had a hood with an RT Challenger scoop. That thing was sharp. looked like this:

I'd like to have one that fed directly to the air intake box.
