Cowl Hood

Ive always wanted one. They are awesome looking. So heres my plan so tell me if it can be done or its just another illusion. On our hoods there already is a cowl of sorts so i was thinkin if i was to get hold of someone with a plasma cutter and a welder this is what id do. Cut along the top of the rise in the hood and come aroudn the front a lil bit then heat the front up and bend the cut part up. Then using the angle left on the hood tack small metal bars for support and shape then cut a piece of sheet metal out and weld it on there. then prep bondo and paint. Can it beed done. I also want to put the pins in the hood like old muscle cars.

Sure do wish they would include a picture with that. I'd like to see what it looks like before buying.

So is the induction cowl on there functional? if so that could be the makings of a nice cold air induction!

I was thinking of getting a 6pack hood scoop and mounting it backwards so it wouldn't catch the rain and somehow mount the air filter in it or on the cowel for the BHAF factor. My concern is getting plumbing to the turbo.Any ideas?? Al

not really but that would be cool, catch the high pressure cool air off the windshield.

think of arrowdynamics, scoops that far back wouldn't really be functional, the air would be pushed up over the top of them, would look sweet though.
