Coverting Gas Truck Into Diesel?
I have all the parts to make a complete motor, p-pumped motor, just wondering how hard it would be to change over a gasser? Didnt know about the transmissions mounts and ect?
As far as the motor gauges i could run aftermarket ones?

. I am very surprised to hear its lasted 3 years with a 97 CTD. Guess theres an exception to all the rules and myths. Is there that much of a difference in pinion size in the 9.25 vs. D70?
Wana hit it on the nose, easy swap & cheap if you have a donor truck. Still an easy sawp with out, but way more costly. ie...core supt, rad, int cooler, springs, trans the list goes on. Cheaper to buy a truck than buy the parts seperately.
I am redoing my 90 with a ctd my cab was totally rotted out from all the quarry dust in every crack and crevice. I bought a mint gasser cab and I am switching everthing over wiring harness dash board everthing. The truck is going to be a total resto.

what suspension mods would need to be done in a swap like this? I was thinking coil springs and not much else. I have an 87 half ton w/ 318 that gets 12 mpg with about 125 hp at the crank.
a cummins would greatly help gas mileage and power.
