Turned it 1 spline clockwise and it's perfect now. Throttle sesitivity is just how it was before the 3200 spring. It wouldn't fire at all at first with it 1 spline CW, so I had to crank up the idle AND turn in my full fuel screw about 3 full turns!! Well, it's maxed out again now . Holy crap, a lot more smoke! I'm gonna advance the timing and take it out for a spin. It was a lot faster yesterday with the full fuel out 3 turns, I'm kinda scared to drive it now!

Anyone have any reccomendations for how much to advance this? I've heard that with PODs, you want to advance it all the way. I have DDP stage IV injectors, which are even more powerful than PODs. What do you guys think, advance it all the way towards the head?

How many threads of the low idle screw do you have between the throttle lever stop and the threaded ear on the pump?

I have about 5 threads or so. Keep in mind it is different for every truck. I have my full fuel in as far as it will go (higher idle) and DDP stage IV injectors (lower idle) and I'm gonna advance the pump which will change it even more. I do think that 11 threads is an awful lot though.

Yeah, that's what I thought. My fuel screw is bottomed, so I think I'm still a spline off on the lever.

Could be. Try turning is CW one spline. Worked great for me.

That's exactly what I was going to post, but you saved me the trouble. I messed up the same way when I put the 3200 RPM spring in Thumbs' truck.

The POD's need all that advance because they are such a lousy tip design. See how it runs at 3/16", add more if it doesn't sound too rattly.

Just took her for a spin, this thing pulls so much harder!! I really need a tranny now.

I was able to get about 44-45 PSI of boost, a little high for my liking, so I am going to try and advance the pump a little more. I got it to about 1/8" or so, probably a little less. Would advancing it more drop it down a couple PSI? EGT's are still ice cold. I know that wannadiesel said he could pull 1250* with PODs no problem, so I don't know if these injectors are really that much better or if my pyro isn't set up right, but dang, these injectors are running cold!

I am in the same boat, I don't really want to be running 45-50 psi of boost. It seems to be a little high for me too. Or is that a safe range? Something in the back ofmy head tells me it's not right. I still haven't bumped the timing yet, would/does it lower the boost some? What about the egt's? I can still wrap the pyro if I want too. Especially in o/d loaded down. Some thing just doesn't seem right with this truck. Seems like its getting ALOT of fuel. Heck, at WOT it'll shoot a 3" flame out of the stack. Is that normal? I don't think it is, or is it just me? Whaddya think Dave???
Anyway, glad everythings going well for u Greg.

That is probably the coolest thing EVER!!!

I'm too scared to get into WOT for more than maybe 2 or 3 seconds, I just go too fast. Maybe that's why I think my EGTs are so low

hey maybe you should stick your 18 cm housing or 21 back on to lower the boost, at WOT is 45 psi with the stage 4 and bhaf clearing up the fuel? If not it may be time to go to a straight piped 4" exh setup or stacks
