Compressor upgarde

I found a guy that has a stock turbo for sale and he says he thinks the compressor was upgraded. How do I tell for sure if it has been upgraded?

Can that be measured with the turbo together or does it need to be taken appart? Where is the measurement supposed to be taken from?

I thought the 58mm wheel was an upgrade also, maybe not?

for some reason i thought a 58mm was an upgrade for a non-intercooled and a 60mm was for an intercooled.

i could also be wrong.

Last I saw 58 or 60mm comp wheels could be bought as upgrades on both the h1c and the baby h1c. Why anyone would go with the 58mm wheel when you can just as easy and for the same cost go with a 60mm wheel is beyond me but who knows, right?

you have to take the housing off but the wheel can stay in the bearing center. You can do this in the truck if you can get the housing off easy enough. Just be very careful not to bend the shaft as you 'wiggle' the housing off. It's best to go very slowly, little by little, and make sure you can always spin the wheel by hand.

You measure the small and big ends of the blades to get the inducer and exducer measurements
