Compressor Relay???
Compressor Relay???
I have a 1990 W250 and I'm trying to located the compressor relay... I am not getting power to my compressor and I don't know where to look... Does anyone know how to jump the switch so it will feed power to the compressor so I can see if the clutch is bad? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You can run leads from the battery to the compressor to test the clutch. Just make sure to not reverse the leads. IF the color is one green and the other black, then black is ground and green is hot.
Only do this to test the clutch. Do it when the engine is not running, so that if your system is low, then you will not burn up the compressor.

I did that and the compressor clutch is bad. My next question is where I'm lost... What is stopping power from getting to the compressor itself? I don't have a clue where the relay is at, or if there even is one. My fuses are all good, so I'm lost... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your response!
