CLOck spring for my 1991.5

I'm hoping someone here has a good suggestion!

The 1991.5 according to the parts book is different than the 92-93 clock springs, im guess the steering wheel and switch design. All these tilt colums were gm made and use on trucks through about 2001. Any chance, a gm for 1991 would be fittable into my dodge? Anyone take one a part and clean it? Mine is just noisy. If that's in the spring pac, maybe i can get a different available assembly and rob a spring??

Help

I'm not sure the 91.5+ columns are GM. I've rebuilt a lot of GM columns 95-older, and my '93 dodge is nothing like it. The signal switch is a Lucas part, Lol!

Does your 91.5 have button controls in the steering wheel other than the horn? It may be the later clock springs have more channels/conductors for those controls but fits the same.

It does have the cruise control bar. I searched a bit more and found a jeep place claiming to have one in inventory, so I jumped at it.

I figured most of these are the same except for wire connectors. Im pretty good at messin with adapting, but not worth my time if this works!

I Bought a Dakota one a while back, different connector, but it looks identical otherwise. Haven't tried it yet.

On a Mopar forum the owner of a Jensen Interceptor had this signature line, "Powered by Mopar, electrical by Satan."

I did a search in the 1st gen section and came up with some old threads addressing the clock spring. Search is your friend.
