chevy driveshaft in the dodge?
I'd say just try to put the chevy unit on your pickup. Its a long shot, but it might work. If the U-joints are the same size and the diveshaft is about the right length, it could be a winner. Might wanna be careful and make sure that the shaft can slide in and out as much as it needs to.
My 79 Chevy and 92 dodge have very similar front driveshafts. Both have that CV thing on the T-case side. I believe that an 80s Chevy with the NP-208 T-case is the same way.

Don`t think it`s a straight bolt in deal. I used to have an 86 w250 gas truck, I went to rebuild the front d-shaft and the joints would`nt fit. The caps on the joints the parts store sent were too big (about .020 IIRC). Called the parts store up and they said "bring it down...we`ll get it to fit". HA! that raised a flag, long story short I then contacted a very reputable d-shaft company local to me. The guy was on the phone with me for 10 seconds and told me he bets I had a chevy front yoke on the shaft. I brought the whole mess down to him and he was right. It took an adapter u-joint (2 different cap sizes) to make it all work.
