I figured heck its a nice day why dont i change my oil. went to napa to get the filters. came home got my tools and oil crawled under the truck and the drain plug has been rounded off. Ive changed the oil once, but i took it to jiffy lube. (never again). so any advice how to get that blasted thing out would be great.

 

if it's not to bad a flank drive (snap on)six point socket may work. don't try 12 point it will only make it worse.

Stripped the ex-Grirlfriends oil drain plug...had to put a new oil pan on it.

Same thing with mine. Except it was the previous owner. I got it out with vise grips and then welded a nut to it. You can prolly pick one up at the parts store or online

I've had this link saved for awhile. I was looking for plugs for custom projects. The price isn't bad either

I got it out after some pb blocker and a pipe wrench cussing and kickin stuff it came out with a fight. i drilled a hole throught the head big enough i could get a small steal piece through till i get a new plug.
