>>> centramatics <<<
My CENTRAMATICs arrived today.I took time to install the rears tonight.
On a DRW, the rears go between the wheels.
I drove it maybe three miles and can already feel a big improvement in ride smoothness.
I am holding off on installing the fronts until the newly painted wheels have time for the paint to cure; then, I will mount the new tires and install the front Centramatics when I bolt on the freshly painted wheels.
If the fronts make as dramatic an improvement as the rears have, I will be ordering more for the rest of the fleet.

BK, the best way I have found to describe the feel is like somebody added a couple hundred pounds of weight to each wheel. After you get the fronts on, tell me if it doesn't feel like the wheels are planted on the road. You'll probably notice a change in the rebound on your front shocks also.
That is me trying to drive enough sense in my skull to finally get this picture business figured out.
If I don't forget and I can find the camera and the batteries ain't dead and my hands ain't too filthy and it don't get too complicated, maybe I will document the process on the front from beginning to end, start me a webshots account, and try to post some pictures.
I have been wanting CENTRAMATICs for at least 20-years and just decided that so long as I kept waiting until I could afford them it was never going to happen.
Am I the only one that carries a $400 digital camera on my person at all times?
You need to shoot and host a video of your truck driving down the highway with sound so we can see your countryside.
The trick is to wear nitrile gloves and only work on clean things.

A bit of advice for anyone installing CENTRAMATICs on the REAR of a DRW truck :PRIOR to removing wheels and installing the CENTRAMATICs, have on hand a pair of those braided stainless valve-stem extensions that connect to the inside valve-stem and protude through the outside wheel slot.
I already had been running the extensions on my rears for several years anyway; and good that I had them, else, I would have been removing the outer wheels again to install them.
With CENTRAMATICs installed between the rear wheels, I see no way humanly possible to access the inside valve-stems without those braided stainless extenders.
This minor inconvenience is no shortcoming of the Centramatics, but just a good excuse to go ahead and get the valve extenders.
Even without the CENTRAMATICs, the valve extensions make rear tire air maintenance a far simpler chore.

^^^ HERE ^^^ is an example of a braided stainless flexible valve-stem extension.
That particular style actually clamps onto the outside wheel with a set-screw clamp.
I have used that style and they work fine; however, I rather prefer the style that has little springy wire clips that sort of clip across the wheel slot opening and are not so apt to skin up a wheel.

Thanks
But mine is only worth $200
16mpxl sony wide angle point and shoot. Belt mounted hard case that prevents my fat **** from breaking it when I fall down.
Always on my belt, and ready to shoot
Now if we were only allowed to carry firearms here, I would have one package on either side...
