Unhappy centerforce???

OK guys. Tell me straight up.
I did a search on this and found a lot of gripes from 2nd gen guys, but nothing from us 1st gens. My truck (as you see below) has a few mods but nothing major, and it probably won't any time soon.
I bought a centerforce dual friction a while ago but haven't had a chance to install it yet. Yes, I know there are better clutches out there, but am I just stupid to put this one in? I don't do a lot of towing (horse trailer now and then) and only smoke the tires once in a while Any one else out there with this clutch or advice?
Please help me out!!!

My 3rd clutch - South Bend - is by far, and I do mean far, the best clutch I have ever had. The last one I had had a launch shudder that was hard to equal. I finally got smart, called Peter at SBC and talked it over with him. He recommended his Con-O and it is the best clutch I have had in my '93. I have no launch shudder, with or without my trailer and it just keeps getting better. Just my .02 worth.

I agree! SBC is one of the best clutches you can put behind one of our cummins. I just recently installed a CON -O in my truck, and its great. Talk to Peter and he will get you all set up!

I have a centerforce on my 94 Dodge and It is in no way the clutch that the SBC is but it is not the fault of the CF clutch not holding. When I bought the clutch I was under the MAX HP the CF was rated for. that did not last long. But when I was under the Max holding of the clutch I liked it. very smooth inguagement and softer than stock pedal.
