I put a LED panel inside my original lens. Soldered it up to the leads on a regular light bulb that would plug in there after crushing the glass bulb with pliers. Is not as bright as NJTmans above but easily 3x brighter than stock.

That's probably what I will do, or maybe just at least swap out the OEM bulb for an LED like I have done for the interior. I don't have enough room between my headache rack for anything. But I could mount it to my rack.

turned mine into third brake light and signals
add one 5/8 hole
bevel the edges to fit contour
running lights
left signal..right is opposite of course, and brake lights it all up
!
