Cab Replacement??

I have a 91 D250 with a g360 that I bought for an engine transplant, but the fact that the old girl runs so good and the1st gen body style is one my favorites has made me decide to fix her up. When the P.O. had her a large branch came down in a wind storm and fell on the cab and hood. The roof, drivers door and drivers side A pillar are tweaked pretty bad, so I am thinking of just replacing the entire cab. Anyway I am going to look at a cab off a 1985 D250 later this week and I am wondering if anyone can give me a ball-park figure on what a cab with minor dings and minor surface rust is worth in the Puget Sound area.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Here in the rust belt a solid regular cab can go from $350-$750 and a CC can go for $500-$1000 assuming they are complete. You Southerners and Westerners got it easy. I have seen rust free cabs in Cali on eBay or in the classifieds for $150-$250. With people using the verbage if it doesn't sell soon its going to the crusher!!!! My dad bought two decent (not 100% rust free) cabs out of NJ 5yrs ago for $1500 for the pair. They were complete LE CC cabs though. Unfortunately that meant I had to drive to NJ. The one state I hate to drive in for a couple different reasons!

Thanks for the info freight train, the guy is asking $200 for the cab.
I plan to go check it out later this week to verify the condition.

Be advised that the 85 cab has a solid clutch linkage and the 91 has hydraulic clutch. The firewall area around the bulkhead area is slightly different.

Good info...forgot about those differences.

Another one of the 85 cab, the wire bulk head opening in the firewall will be a different shape, and slightly shifted to the left as well.

Yes...Good info to know. I am also going to check out a cab off a 92 D350 as well.
If it is in good shape it will be my first choice.
Thanks for the feedback all!
