subj:,,, on the lower left floor board ( under my left foot ) is a wiring conn w / a orange / blue tracer wire that come's out in the cab lite hole,, the cab lite ( & bulb ) run off of a blk./ pink wire in the same conn.
The org./ blu. does go up into the wiring harness ( somewhere ) it is not hot ,,, I have turned on and tried all different ways to make "o'l "org. hot,, anyone know what this wire is for ? My first thought was it may be for the " Cargo " lite ,, " There Ain't No Sw. " for said lite,, STUMPED !!!

Do you have a FSM? You could check the wiring diagram in there.

 

Hey aeronb,, took a couple hrs. looking on Internet ,, found the right diagram ,, traced the wire ,, installed a stock " CARGO LT. sw. " wired up the bed ( cargo ) lite,, good to go. Thanks for the ideal .
