Cab/body mount bolt torque?
Cab/body mount bolt torque?
So, I replaced my cab and radiator support mounts with the Energy Suspension poly mount bushings and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the torque specs are for the cab and rad support bolts, other than just "good-n-tight".

Just an update to let others know:
I have a parts truck so I decided to progressively back off the cab bolts with a torque wrench and see what value they broke free at. It seems to be around 40- 45 ft/lbs. So I'm going with 45 ft/lbs with some red loc-tite. I'll recheck them after driving a bit and see if everything stays in place.
Also, found a manual that said the truck bed bolts were supposed to be at 35 ft/lbs. I'm not doing the bed right now but thought that was a bit on the low side. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone can confirm it.

Can anyone confirm torque specs? I just changed mine out and looked through the FSM several times and could only come up with a chart with torque specs for grade 5 and 8 SAE bolts, not metric. It only describes the grading for metric bolts and the increasing number means the increased strength but that doesn't tell me anything about a torque. It has 10.2 or 10.9 stamped on the head which makes it metric, it took a 3/4" socket on the head. If my memory serves me correct, that's equal to a 19mm which would yield a 12-13mm thread, equal to about 1/2"? Could I just torque them to specs for a 1/2"-20 bolt?
