A/C lines

Before i try and take these off can i get new ones? I have done a little looking around. Parts places like autozone, advanced have lines but the attaching method to the compressor looks different. I just hate to break it and really be up the creek.

On my '89, I got one line from Advance and the other I had to have made up at a hose shop (I think it was the high side). Actually it was a little cheaper to have the hoses made.

I'll add another twist in here. Has anyone used Intercooled A/C lines etc on a Non-Intercooled truck? Is the difference the length of the hoses etc?

I wonder if the pumps are the same but the hose is longer for I/C? Do the I/C trucks have the Sanden 171 pump?

Mine are threaded on to the pump. They line that attach with a bolt for the nonintercooled lines that are avalible.

Hi,
The IC pump has the connections on the back of the compressor and the non IC pump has the connections on the top. They do not interchange. I put a new compressor in mine last year. The compressor was $325.00. The new compressor clutch ,(the real problem ), was $375.00. The new compressor came with a clutch.
