My brothers 92 W250 brake lights are stuck on. Whats might be cause? Im thinking brake light switch or??? How would I check brake light switch to see if its bad

The brake light switch under the dash can move back if hit or the pedal moved up for some reason. Have him pull up on the pedal and see if the brake lights go out, if not reach up under the dash following the brake arm until he feels the brake light switch. Once the switch is found should be able to feel it sitting against the arm, if not then it is out of adjustment. Can also push on the switch to see if the lights go out.

Mine was worn out and would only hold adjustment for a couple days, until I got it into adjustment then used a couple small zip ties to hold it in place...been great for over a year now.
