Bypass Filter supply location

I have a Luberfiner cannister filter that I would like to mount on my truck. Where can I safely tap into a pressurised oil supply for it? I'm a little leary about "Teeing" off of the turbo supply line.
Thanks!
Mark

There's a pipe plug right next to the turbo supply line, that's what most people use. The bypass filter does have an orifice to put inline, right?

Yes, it does have a restrictor.

What is the part number for the Luberfiner filter you are using? I was told they didn't make a filter that had a fine enough element to use as a bypass.

Luber-finer 200S canister, and the filter element part number is 2708.
We used to have this canister on a gas engine and it kept the oil looking brand new for ever! It will get dirty more quickly on a Diesel, but the filter elements are cheap!

From Cummins, the orface in the restrictor cannot be over .050 and the system should not channel oil to the bypass until the pressure is 30 pounds.

I can make the orifice, but the 30psi valve is tricky. Can I buy one somewhere?

They can be purchased, but I have not looked for one. Priorities ya know. But that is why I don't have a bypass on mine. A simple spring/ball check valve would do just fine.
