It's a little black box up under the dash behind the the ashtray. It's the same box that buzzes for the wait to start so if you can't find it try turning on the key and feel around for the buzzing lol

Good luck hope this helps

So this is where I could maybe find the solution to a problem with my intake heater buzzer? It just stopped working about a week ago.

I don't think there is an intake heater buzzer, unless the Non-IC trucks have them and the IC trucks don't. My truck has a light that says wait to start, but i can still hear the relay click when it turns off. Maybe you lost power to your intake heater?

I took out my electromechanical buzzer and replaced it with an electronic chime to get a nicer sound.

Yeah Randy,

It is kind of interesting. I have a wait to start light in my little Cummins Light Display thing on the dash but it only lights up for a quick second and then goes off when I turn the key. There was a buzzer that always sounded for about 15 seconds after turning the key and went off. I will have to check, I ran my clearance lights to a fuse block, I might have done something to one that deals witht the intake heater.

I think the high pitched buzzing sound you are hearing when the grids cycle are the contactors screaming from the hundreds of amperes going through them as the cycle on and off.
