broken speed sensor ...ideas?

ok, went to check/clean the speed sensor (the one in the rear diff) as i was getting the code for high resistance, and thought while i was fixing the wire to it, i would clean the sensor.

well anyways, the sensor broke in half, or was broken in half; just beneath where it would sit flush with the top of the diff case. Any ideas on how to get the part that is still in the diff case out?

truck is a new to me '92 4x4 auto

Or drill into it, put in a screw and pry/pull it out.

i'm having trouble finding one online, i mostly get the speed sensor that mounts in my T-case. Any ideas on what else they might be called, or who has them?

Yep, the gasser one will work.

Every auto parts store has 'em. AutoZone #SU8168 is just one example.

I've tried and failed with normal bits and endmills, might be able to with diamond tipped.
