Brake problems question

I had a blown brake line (the long front-to-rear one between the frame and fuel tank)
I replaced it, and blew out two more. Replaced them.
I just use my truck for farm use and I think this line has been bad for a while.
I bled my brakes until I got all fluid. But now I get no pedal at all until I pump them, then good pedal and good brakes.
I looked at what I assume is the anti-lock brake thingy beside the spare tire and saw it also has a bleeder, which I twisted off.
Just wondering if this is my problem, it needs bled too? And if so, can I just bypass this thing instead of trying to get the bleeder out or buying a new one?
Thanks in advance.

I looked through the "Brakes" sticky and I assume that's the dump valve. Both lines are 3/16 but two different size fitting bolts. Any idea if there's a union made that will join these two?
