Borgeson Shafts and others??

Are they the only aftermarket avenue we have? If soo who has the best price? Also is there a company that makes rebuild kit for the oem shaft?

If I'm not mistaken the Mopar rebuild kit is part number 4740 761 and lists for $55.85. But if your Dodge dealer likes you and gives you the employee price it is $33.53.

In general I've been pleased with OEM parts and am willing to pay a bit more for Mopar than for aftermarket.

I have a Borgeson shaft with the rag joint replacement flange and a Borgeson Dodge box (steering box)...never been happier. Truck drives like a dream....on my old 92 I replaced the shaft (stock OEM) twice and wore out in a short time...and still never drove as nice...put a Borgeson on the 92 and fixed it for good.....sometimes oem parts from 20 years ago aren't that great....just my 2 cents

I can't count how many times my dad went threw those factory steering joints I guess they might be okay on a 2wd that never sees gravel roads n washboard.

^Yeah, I do alot of off road driving....it drives better on road to though....make sure you get the one with the rag joint replacement if you do, the original rag joints on these are pretty week.
