Boost level

Well I intalled my boost gauge this weeken, with my custum ground fuel pin and 10 clicks in the proper direction on the starwheel, I am getting 24-25 lbs of boost depending on air temp in 3rd gear. First question is this normal?? Second question is that it starts to loose boost about 63mph, is this normal and would this be corrected by the 3200rpm gov spring??

It sounds like all is going well,, And yes you do need the 3200 rpm spring to be happy,,,, Your non ic truck will turn 45+ lbs of hot boost, You are good at 25 lbs, If you want more, Turn up the fuel, bump the pump and install a stage lll compressor, You will still be high up on boost, I would stay about where you are and think about the stage lll,
There are a few posts about it today!

When mine was stock, I was at 18 lb boost, Withoug grinding the pin, Just turning up the pump all the way, and rotating afc cone I was hitting 45+ lbs and 1500* easy,
Pump bump and stage lll About 42 boost and 1400*
With water meth in the mix-----Blown head gasket,
New HG and all the mods, 1100* 42 boost under easing the skinny pedal down,
You are on the right path, But when you are spinning the turbo over 30 lbs, It is just hot air, and not helping your power, If you can get it at 30-35 WOT with adding fuel, Stay there!
