afe filter

I have the asa intake on my truck,it comes with an afe filter and after 15,000 miles the inside of the intake tube is spotless.I live in Phoenix so it is extremely dusty/dirty down here,IJMO but I'll stick with the afe.

I've never had any dust get past my AFE, my old K&N was a different story though.

I prefer to stick with the tried and true paper filter. We should feel thankful and lucky that we can easily bolt up a big rig BHAF paper filter and get safe high flow performance. For 90% of us even the BHAF is overkill.

I just used a non specific cone filter mounted on the end of a home made intake tube.
