Best Source for floormat and weatherstripping.

I am planning to replace all the weatherstripping on my doors and wanting to get rid of the carpet for vinyl. I have seen several sources for these parts but wondered if anyone has purchased this stuff and can say good or bad on a few places. I would appreciate it before I randomly choose a source for this stuff. Thanks.

I bought a few weatherstrip kits from JC whitney.. The fit is pretty good, the only thing that I had to cut to my liking was the window channel stuff... That is kind of a pain... I also purchased the vinyl floor for my dump truck a few years back... IT has held up good, but I was dissapointed that it wasn't the whole floor... Just from the front of the seat to the firewall... I think Nifty products makes some decent replacement full floor carpeting and Vinyl floor covering.. take some pics when you get it all installed and let us know what you go with.. Good Luck!

I got my weather stripping and belt lines from:

www.thecliphouse.com

The prices seemed reasonable and shipping was quick. They actually left an item out of my shipment, one phone call and I had it in two days. The quality of the product is excellent and it fit perfectly. I would use them again in a heartbeat....

I think Jim Lane has put new weatherstripping and door trim in his, not sure where he got it tho. He seems to be very meticulous about his truck so it's probably top shelf stuff. I found a place for the full rubber mat, a friend of mine bought from the same place and his looks extemely well. I don't know why I haven't ordered mine, I need to do it, hate the carpet. I'll find the place and pm you with the info..

Anyone no where to find a nice club cab carpet? I want to find one to put back down when I do my nv4500 conversion! That way the getrag hole wont still be in the carpet when I cut for the nv4500 shifter. ad removed The sad thing is I know I have passed on them in salvage yards in the past! A reg cab stops in front of the seats, and a RC stops right behind the front seats. So only a club cab goes the hole length of the cab! Thanks, Robert

Cool, most excellent link. Thanks from me, too. I hate the carpet in my LE, it's filthy with lots of stains and dog hair because one of the previous owners was a slob. Smells bad. Can't wait to cut it all out of there and put black vinyl in there instead !

Looks easy to install, what, do you glue it down or something ?

Wonder what the "mildew resistant jute padding" is ?

Yeah, great link !

You should be able to buy that same stuff a lot less expensive at a roofing supply. It's called Blueskin and it works great. Same stuff. Just gonna rip you off for autoshoppe stuff!

RafterB:
Did you use the underlayment "Rain and Ice" or the High temp underlayment from Blueskin?

Well, 127 and change isn't too bad considering they deliver it to your door and it's already cut to fit. I mean, I guess I could spend hours on the phone and driving around to try to find the exact same thing cheaper...

Where did you buy it and what does it cost compared to the stuff in the ad ? I've tried google here, but nothing turns up with an actual price on it.
