bad morning

apparently on her way to church today, my sister was in a hurry, threw her jimmy in retreat and smashed into my truck. thanks sis! luckily its only my bumper thats mangled. who cares about her jimmy. when it got bent in it scratched some paint, but im gettin it painted in a few weeks so no biggy. the bumper can easily be mended back into shape so im not worried about that. now my question, seeing as its so easy to mend the bumper back to what it was, thats less protection. should i invest in an aftermarket bumper? build my own? mend it and dont think twice about it?

Be Careful

Home built bumpers are lots better then original but just keep in mind bumpers are meant to give a little. If youbuild it so tough thats its indestructable and the only place left to bend is the frame. It's alot easier to heat and beat on a bumper to straighten then on the frame. So build it tough but not to tough.

that's a concern of mine, I have aftermarket REUNEL bumpers that are beefy as all get out

if someone backed into my truck their vehicle would be the one damaged (I might be missing some paint, but that's it)
