I left work and about a quarter of a mile later there was a loud clunk and it was followed by clunking all the way back to the shop and thats when I noticed the play in the main axle shaft and my buddy noticeing it as i drove up. So my question is where can i get quality parts for a good price, spiders mabee ring and pinion.

Are you talking driveshaft play? Sounds like you lost some gears of the pinion That happened to me and that was the cause...

 

where did you get your parts from and were they reasonable
