Anyone running an electric water pump?
If you turn any high RPM, and high RPM on a 6BT is 2200 and over, Yes Sir. you are. The factory pump cavitates, causing blown freeze plugs. Electrical pumps are not the answer. The number 5&6 run hot. Its because of the pump and those two being at the back of the block. Cummins made the factory bypass for a reason. They know it will blow the rear plug and run hot. The electric pump belongs off road... Hope this helps..
Yes IT will blow, regaurdless of rust or not..Too much thinking bro.. head stud it if its leaking in the front. The plug that blows out is the one in the back of the block.

Will studs fix the problem? That front corner of the head is kinda far away from a bolt/stud. I was thinking the head warps under pressure and that's when it starts leaking.
Yea, I know I'm probably overthinking it, but that's cheaper!
