Anyone run these injectors?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true

Seems like this guy really knows what he is doing when it comes to diesel injectors, and he has a great feedback. Anyone on this forum have any experience with them?

A little pricey for a rebuild compared to new bosch's 190's but I am willing to pay for quality.

Cheers

You guys getting outlanding shipping prices as well? Why $180 to ship 4lb worth of stuff from Omaha? I've had huge boxes of MB parts from California shipped to me for $20 regularly.

yeah this guy's ebay injectors were posted on here a few months ago. I wonder what he does to the injectors. Must bore them out to like a 6x.011? or something. I don't know.

yeah pretty much. There are 2 different people who left feedback on them where it still shows the item sold. One guy says, they are the second set he's bought, enough said and the other guy just said he liked em or whatever.

I bet they are decent but I guess none of us will know until someone buys em though, true enough.

Whats the deal with a new injector losing 200psi after the first few thousand miles because of break in? Is that true? And would it be as simple as just having them reset? Because I may just go with the bosch 190's cheaper and new.

Thanks

There was a guy on here who gained 2mpg with an auto in a W350. I emailed him a few years back for details, and didnt get a warm fuzzy feeling inside from his response. He DID say they are an automotive application- at least they arent marine. I have heard they are in the neighborhood of a 5x11 or 5x12. Increased plunger lift, slightly lower pop pressure, and presto, more power.

I have been looking at buying a set. I emailed the company a few times. They where fairly helpful without giving a ton of information. I don't think they are out there to make a HUGE power injector. They are about smokeless efficiency as far as I can tell. The power increase is just a bonus. They will flat out tell you the injectors will not support more than 400hp. They are saying that they are getting 350hp/800ftlbs at the wheels. This is with there injectors, a 12cm housing, 4" exhaust, and a new intake. Also...they are not saying you need any internal pump modifications. All external adjustments?

I need a few more RPMs sometimes and they recommended a adjustment on the high idle screw and some linkage modifications.

To me they aren't saying there stuff if the greatest thing ever. They sound knowledgeable.

It would seem that they are mainly a diesel service and rebuild shop. They have been in business for a long time and stock a lot of parts.

Maybe they just enjoy playing around with some performance stuff without trying to make a whole business out of it?

The company selling these injectors is Red Oak Diesel Clinic

http://www.rodiesel.com/

I am still undecided, but I am leaning that way. I would love a little more power and a little more mileage without the smoke.
