don't have any pics but my grandpa used to run them on mine years ago. he said they were a close fit but they worked. just keep them aired up enough so that the sidewalls don't touch. plus he was towing most of the time so he had to keep the air up in them. only problem is when driving empty, if you have to keep the air up, you'll wear the centers out fast!

If you can wait a week at most I can post pictures of mine. The reason for the wait is I don't have rims for them. They are in my basement right now. I ordered some 16x8 rims but they won't be in until the end of the week at earliest. Once I get the rims I'm going to mount the tires and put 'em on the truck. The tires are the Toyo M-55 255/85/r16. And believe it or not, they are too wide for the stocker rims which is why I bought rims. I had them on my stockers last winter but I can't justify doing it again. I figured why spend over $1100 for tires and just have the center of the tread wear out prematurely because the rims are too narrow.

I'll subscribe to this thread so I don't lose it so next week I can post back here with some pictures. It's probably high time I added a few pics my profile anyways.

My Toyo M55s in stock size (235/85R16) on stock rims still balloon out in the center... I have to simply run the recommended tire pressures for flat footprint and I don't get centre wear. I'd imagine it is somewhat moreso with the 255s... but they're really only 20 mm wider...

yeah Pape I think it's partly just the way these specific tires are made but I still think the 8" wide wheel will help a lot.

And NO SPRK unlike Chris' truck mine look noticeably wider, and MUCH better than stock.

Well get some pics up! I'm thinking of buying some 16x7 alcoa 5-spoke wheels and 255s might be perfect with a 7inch wide wheel
