Anybody ever had Cummins do engine work?

I'm just curious to see if anybody has had Cummins do any work to their 1st gen. I noticed my head gasket weeping a couple days ago and in the 3000 miles Ive towed since then its gotten a lot worse. I don't have the time right now to fix it and I dont feel comfortable using a local shop. Southern Plains Cummins has a repair facility not far from me that I am going to call Monday. Their shop looks really clean and organized but thats all I know about it. Would you let them work on your truck?

If its a true Cummins shop, and the prices were reasonable, you bet I would let them do the repairs.

I did have Cummins do some work because of the same reason. I'm really picky about details and was fairly happy with the work. Of course I found a couple things I would have done better if I did it myself, but no obvious errors (things I did find at another shop that did a couple LITTLE things for me). I would have them work on it again. My suggestion is to tell them EXACTLY what you want done as they're not used to customers that know what they're talking about.

I had Cummins Power South kill my KDP. They claim that for injection pump problems they pull the pump, send it to a local authorized Bosch shop, and then reinstall it. But my IP had a leak they were able to repair without pulling the pump.

Their work seemed decent and I would happily use them again. I have a good rapport with the parts manager there and I order everything I can from him to avoid Mother Mopar.
