I am still working up to buying tires and wheels. Tire rack has some pretty good prices plus I can get the tires delivered to my door.

so what are your experiences?

I just bought another set from them. They have always gotten them to me in two to three days, no complaints here.

Looks like an additional discount of $40 if you have the tires sent to one of their installers.
I'll use them to compete with my local Discount Tire if my AT2's ever wear out.

I think it worked out cheaper if I buy the wheels from them and have them mounted and delivered. IIRC.
However that helps if I decide on a set of wheels they don't have. like the wheelvintiques 8"X16" steelies

Every vehicle I have has tore rack tires on it. Next day delivery, and pep boys discounts installation on them, as I have them sent directly there

Looks like It would be about $300 cheaper than local shops.
This place is getting too expensive to live.

Search where you live for authorized installers. Call that installer, and tell them you're sending the tires to them directly, and to expect them...

Pep boys gives me a good discount on the install because I buy from Tire rack. They want tire racks business, hence the discount.

Just make sure you go the day they're being delivered, as you don't want your tires to "roll away", as UPS just drops them off, and no one really pays any attention to them until you get there.
