Another "reverse lights not working"

On my '90 D250 5 speed Getrag, the reverse lights are not working.

Bulbs are good, sockets are clean.

Where is the reverse switch located on the getrag?

Also, what fuse number? My truck does not have a fuse diagram either.

Thanks!

I think fuse 3, and top right of shifter cover. Don't know if an intercooled engine is different but that is all I got to go off of.

both my truck and my dad's pop the reverse light fuse as soon as you put it in reverse. mine worked for a while after i put a new transmission in with a new switch, now as soon as i put a good fuse in, put it in reverse and it'll pop.

Popping fuses huh? Great!!!! NOT!!

Does the reverse switch complete the circuit to ground, or does it close to allow power like a relay?

I'm thinking about a little re-engineering...
