mabee a good aftermarket one that will cool better than a factory? I am need the same thing. My radiator had a bunch of buildup on the cores. I had the radiator shop clean it out and now it leaks. I will be towing a lot this summer and need the best radiator possible. |
I've seen one, it was made by Griffin Radiators.

Is that the best? Or is there better?

Griffin makes a good product from what I've heard. Griffin and BeCool are the two brands that seem pretty popular with hot rodders.

the one i have been running in mine with a hot p-pump motor is from silla
|
I need a better radiator as well
|
Why is aluminum better than copper? I'm just curious.
|
Better heat dissipation ....and lighter but costs more.
|
I've ordered from Champion Radiators for a couple of my Mopars. They are reasonable in costs but am not sure if they make or sell for our trucks.
Could always check their website. |
Griffin is the best, expensive though! I went with a copper spectra, I wish I would have went with a Vista Rad, oh well.

local shop here in the phoenix area, Davis radiator makes very nice products, but like most things you pay for it.
|
I have checked out all my options, including a Griffin, I decided to go with a copper factory replacement rad, If she gets too hot this summer I will get the griffin! They cost just a few $ more than I can spend, so :o

How much was the Griffin? I checked the website and got the part number but no price.
|
Summit has them for $651.99.
