Stick4trucks,
That airbag set up looks really cool, and I am glad to hear it smoothed out the ride.
Nicely done.

IMHO CF is a joke.
The attitude over there, that I got usually, was "I am super awesome, and you are super stupid for asking that question".
Lots of "cool guys", but not many helpful guys who actually seem cool.
I gave up years ago on CF.
I left them to argue over how many Monster energy drink stickers it takes to make their truck impress the chicks hanging out at Cumberland Farms gas stations.

It is a lot like the H.A.M.B hotrod board.

they've moved on to Yeti cooler stickers. because it's not enough to have an overpriced cooler, everyone needs to know about it.

i enjoy CF and there are a few real good members over there for info. most of them are also members here (mknittle, thrashingcows, philip) it was the first site I found when I bought my first gen and had questions so I'm a little partial. I am growing fond of DTR now though.

I like DTR for 1st gen stuff, hardly ever read the 1st gen boards there but use CF almost exclusively for 4th gen stuff.

DTR seems pretty slow in the 4th gen area

Gyman shows up on CF just long enough to win every ride of the month contest!

Well, when he drives that awesome black and orange crew around, it is hard not to be a WINNER.
It is basically truck **** at it finest.

Sorry for the D-rail on CF. I just wanted to mention the 1st gen crowd here is more my style. We just want to fix up and drive the old beasts.
Most are quick to lend a tip or help problem shoot for another 1st genner.

MKNITTLE ..... Are those 4" blocks in your dad's truck from the factory, or did he add a 4" lift to the truck?

Also, if those pics are current, he has some loose bolts on his transverse rod, and a wheel seal leaking

I find the member here generally have a higher knowledge base, and can think outside the box, compared to the CF crowd.

Seems over on CF you are answering the same 6 questions every week.

for this reason, i've been accused of being a bit of an a-hole sometimes, and I am. i like to help people on CF, but sometimes I should just back away from the keyboard instead of letting frustration get the best of me.

i've found the quality of conversation/tech/threads here on DTR are higher. not the average "i want 500 hp, what should i do to my truck?"

Yeah there are many threads on CF that I just have to ignore. As much as I love to help people out, when your restating the same stuff week after week it gets a little tiresome.
