Air Filter testing...

This is an old thread over on Diesel Bombers...but I could not find reference to it in our archives. Very interesting information, and confirms my aversion to the K&N type air filters.

My K&N is sitting on the shelf. Went back to paper long ago.

I had a 5.9 crater with only 250,000 kms. Had a K&n filter most of those. Not sure that was the cause but I think it was a contributing factor. My other two truck are over 500,000 kms.
