93 W350 Resurrection
It was a bit of a basket case when I got it. Pretty sound mechanically now though. I went through all of the front end, replaced most of the u joints. The ones in the front axles were original. Replacing those seems to have cured the terrible wander in the steering.
I never was much of an electrician but this rig has turned me in to one (big hat tip to Jim Lane on that!)
She's about ready for filler, primer & paint. Should be rollin this summer!

Nice clean looking truck.
Good work fixing it up and saving it.
One question how did you get it in the shop...did I miss the shop door on the shop? It there a track for that back wall behind the truck?

Those are track mounted doors behind the truck.

Those loose wires laying over the battery are from me trying to diagnose why the wait to start light wont go off.. No luck yet. Anyone else have this issue? PCM and air temp sensor are new. I'm leaning toward a short in the sensor return wires somewhere.

Nice lwork bring the old beast back to life, looks like a nice solid truck. And way to go on figuring out the wiring....too many times people just toss their hands up in the air and give up when it comes to electrical.

The wiring was a bit of a rats nest under the dash. Not too bad under the hood. I replaced the fusible links with a maxi fuse block from a 90' or 2000's buick. Also added Jim's headlight relays, fixed the fuel gauge, & pcm (voltage reg was bad). Just down to my dog gone wait to start light now.

The truck I’m building has the wait to start light on to I haven’t tried to figure it out yet. I’ve done so many mods. I’m just working out one bug at a time but I’m about done with it

You don't really realize how big these trucks are until you paint one!
The ol Dodge tried to kill me yesterday. Glad to be back at work so I can recover

Thanks Oliver.
Those squirters were about the last parts I needed other than a grille. I'm pretty happy with how the paint came out (for a driveway job) so I don't think I'm going to put my ratty stock grille back on. I'm going to try the LMC truck grille.
Still have to paint the hood and cowl cover and put everything back together. I can at least see the end of the tunnel now though!

Thanks all. I noticed back in April I said I was about ready for paint. I guess it took a bit longer than I thought to take care of 25 years worth of dents and dings (and one run in with a deer).
