are you looking for a new best friend? i can post a resume if you'd like. lol
outstanding build. closest thing i've seen to what I want to do to mine. plan on taking it off the road next fall and will be saving this thread for sure.
i've heard tons of great things about Ferrell pumps. can make some crazy numbers with those. he does HP VE pumps as well.
looks great man, can't wait to see it finished. what is the intended purpose of the truck when she's done?

Seth did a awesome job inside and out. Looked brand new! I have a newer ford I plan on replacing with this truck. I'm a rig welder by trade so that would be it's job. Along with carrying my rv from job to job.

Thanks man! I'm not sure why some pics uploaded sideways. I wish I had a actual shop to work in. It was a hot summer so I drug my feet a lot. Humidity didn't make it any better.
I'm stuck with my a/c wiring for now. For some reason I'm not getting the correct power from the right wires. My wiring does not match the wiring diagram in the tech section here either.

Unfortunately I'm at a stopping point until I go back to work. Good shocks aren't cheap neither are good sway bars. The track bar is going to have to be modified because it's nowhere close to parallel with the drag link.
I'm also stuck on a wiring issue. Not sure if it's because I bypasses the grid heaters and IAT sensors or not. All lights on the information Center are lit(including wif and parking brake) and the wait to start light flashes.

I know what you mean. I go back to work on the 17th of this month, but I'm getting laid off November 18th...have to finish building my work truck, so I can work for myself again...but I'm out of money, and I need a 6' long 1 piece aluminum drive shaft...crossing my fingers that I don't run out of shielding gas for the welder.

I'm in aerospace. Took a job building satellites for a big company 5 years ago that I don't really enjoy (especially when the 3rd layoff is about to hit me). Going back into the industrial trash and recycling industry, like I did for 8 years prior. I'll be doing hydraulics, electrical control and welding repairs as a mobile tech, for grocery stores, warehouses etc.

Not sure if your company does a lot of work for the military or not. I have a friend who is a aerospace engineering for sikorski and unfortunately they have had to lay off over 1500 people recently. Our economy is not what they want to pretend it is. Good luck to you.

Yeah, commercial and government, but as you said, this economy is terrible. Hopefully we'll get some big changes after this next election instead of the band aids and bubble gum we've been using. Too many of us are out of work and hungry. Same to you brother.

Rural western PA is bad, skilled jobs are few and unfortunately we have generations of junkers feeding off our welfare programs. We need manufacturing jobs. Not retail warehousing work. I changed careers to keep a good wage in a failing economy, but not everyone can do that.

I think the stagflation thing that was the main feature in the 1970's is about to hit again. The whole monetary and control system is downright criminal. No matter what happens, it seems us peons take the hit.
