i paid 80 dollers to get my rear driveline lengthend with new u joints i did the front myself.six states in portland oregon.

Yeah, $750 for the work on the 2 driveshafts is a real hosing, rowe trucking in lafayette ind did both mine for about 170$ total.

Well keep in mind they estimated $300 + parts just to replace the U-joints on the front drive shaft without any modifications.

you could do the u joints your self they arent that hard to do.and if you can tig weld shortening the shaft is easy but it would be ideal if you use a lathe to cut it square and take out the original weld
