I just bought a 91.5 , has a new rebuilt auto w/ od , shifts so smooth you can't even feel it, going up but shifting down you hear it !!!It howls driving on the hwy., or at low speed , cked. on the sticky saw band adj.I'a sure there is no warrty,does this sound like pump or band fix ( please tell me its' a easy inexpensive fix) This truck pulls great ( 3 horsr slant load 4200 lb. empty) THANKS for onfo.The truck has sit for 1 1/2 yr. i'v put 998mi. on the new rebuild .

 

You might want to contact Member Fred Swanson he could give you advise on the tranny .

 

if it howls on the highway it is probably the big ball bearing that is held in the od case with a big snap ring. if it quits when u take it out of od it will be the od piston thrust needle bearing
