Can I put an oil filter adapter off a 5.9 cummins on my 4bt without having any issues? I want the filter to point down like the 5.9, and not stick straight out like on the 4BT. I know some of them have a diffferent gasket, and oil passages, just curious if this is possible.

Pretty sure you can, my 4BT ( CPL858 ) has the same filter arrangement as the 6BT in our trucks.
